Black Legacy Builders is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering working black families through a holistic approach to support and access to resources, where our trained facilitators mobilize to bring the concept of community to you. Our program focuses on three key areas: Food, Finance, and Family.

By addressing these fundamental aspects of life, we aim to uplift families, promote financial literacy, and foster stronger, more resilient communities. We strive to empower working families of color to achieve their goals, create positive change, and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.

About the Founder

Stephanie Fleary is a visionary leader and the passionate founder of Black Legacy Builders. With over 20 years of experience in education and empowerment, Stephanie brings a unique blend of expertise in school administration, coaching, and advocacy to her role at Black Legacy Builders. Her unwavering commitment to addressing the needs of underserved communities and breaking the cycle of generational poverty has been the driving force behind the organization’s success. 

Stephanie is dedicated to equipping the Black Legacy Builders team with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to effectively serve Black families who often fall through the cracks of traditional support systems. Recognizing the misconception that these families have the knowledge and education to navigate financial challenges on their own, Stephanie has developed a comprehensive training curriculum for Black Legacy Builders’ team facilitators.
